• The Point of No Return: Once an object or light crosses this invisible line, it is trapped forever.
  • Not a Physical Wall: It is a mathematical and geometric boundary in spacetime, not a solid object you can bump into.
  • Cutting Off Information: Because light cannot escape outward, events happening inside the horizon cannot affect or be seen by anyone on the outside
  • Going past the event horizon means you cross a one-way boundary where gravity is so strong that escape is impossible.

    What You Experience Inside
    • No immediate drama: For a large black hole, crossing the boundary feels ordinary at first because tidal forces are weak near the edge. You feel weightless and can still move normally.

    • Swapped space and time: Inside the boundary, spacetime bends so severely that the center point (the singularity) becomes your inevitable future, just like tomorrow is your future. You cannot move backward or stay still; you must move forward toward the center.

    • Spaghettification:
As you get closer to the center, the gravitational pull on your feet is much stronger than on your head. This extreme tidal force stretches you into a long, thin shape until you are torn apart.
